Guest guest
Leyna, Since you expect some language difficulty, write down exactly what you want and give it to him. . . Chances are the doctor can read English very well . . . It's pronunciation and accents that cause problems . . . Get him to write down exactly what he plans to do - or to write where he disagrees with you. Also, I'm thinking that your insurance may consider your gyno's recommendation to be sufficient . . . Many women use their gyno for a primary. Ask. Rogene leyna1964 <leyna1964@...> wrote: Ok, I called my Gynocologist a few minutes ago, and they recommended a Dr. Koleyni for my surgery. He takes my insurance. I have an appointment with him on Sept. 7th, provided I can get a referral from my PCD, and I have an appointment with HIM tomorrow.I tried looking this guy up online before I called the office to "check him out".He is Iranian, and it said something about language complications if you don't speak Iranian! Not good!I called the office and talked to the nurse, who seemed nice enough-she was obviously American, or spoke English perfectly herself. I asked if he does the surgery En Bloc, and she had no idea what I was talking about.I had written down the definition of En Bloc, and she seemed a little more familiar with it after I read it to her. She's like...."Oh, yes of course!" so...I'm thinking that the term En Bloc is maybe called something else here in the south.....?? No one seems to know what it means!Either way, I'll go see what this doctor has to say, since my insurance covers him. My Gynocologist would not give me the referral for an MRI though-he said that Dr. Koleyni or my PCD would have to do that.At least he found me a surgeon who covers my insurance though-I hope it's not going to be a waste of time going to him. Guest guest
I am taking the referral for a mammogram to him (he can make a copy, or make me a copy), and even better, I found my paperwork from my rheumatologist, stating that I have Fibro and " widespread pain " . Surely with both of these things, he will help me out! --- Kenda Skaggs <skaggs@...> wrote: > Can you bring the letter your gyn wrote you to your > PCD appointment? Guest guest
I really don't think my husband ever really liked them either...he warned me before I got them (which he didn't want me too ) NOT TO COME HOME LOOKING LIKE A STRIPPER ! So with that I still left with my then 25 year old daughter and got a C instead of a D. I wish I had not gotten any ,all I really needed was a lift and now looking at all I have been thru I didn't need that either... So Molly you felt like you were dieing ? I feel that way too once in awhile ...so do you ever now feel bad ?
