This position is responsible for providing courteous and competent emergency and non-emergency patient care. Qualified candidates must have a valid Texas. Paramedic, ACLS, BTLS, and PALS certifications. What is our system like: Northwest EMS provides emergency and non-emergency medical care to the citizens of Tomball, Texas and surrounding and Montgomery Counties. Northwest EMS responds to 911 calls for assistance in a 50 square mile area in and around Tomball, Texas. Northwest EMS also provides non-emergency transfers for our local hospital. See us on the web at: http://www.nwems.org What Qualifications are we looking for? High school graduate (or equivalent) State of Texas Paramedic Certification or Licensure. EMT-I, or EMT-B certification ACLS certification BTLS or PHTLS certification PALS certification Valid Texas drivers license Be in good physical condition, capable of performing the job responsibilities Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience, with in-charge status, in a 911 service, providing advanced life support, or minimum of 2 years experience with an advanced life support transfer services with in-charge status What do we pay: Employees are hired in a probationary status for 60 days. Upon completion of the 60 day period employees are eligible for full benefits. Pay rate is based on certification level, contact us for more information. Longevity pay begins after 1 year of continuous service.
