Guest guest
Interesting that you have a similar issue. I'm sure one of the reason you have to go so frequently is the lack of residual/reservoir space compared to having a normal extensible colon. My prostate is normal size. Usually, prostatic enlargement (BPH, benign prostatic hypertrophy) results in urinary frequency, difficulty starting the stream and incomplete emptying. Later on, if ignored, it results in urinary retention. You're unable to go at all. This is a surgical emergency. We have a fun time getting a catheter in at that point and may have to use a superpubic approach. Thimerosol, the perservative used for vaccines and incidently, some contact eye solutions, is a mercury based compound. However, only mercury itself is a toxic chemical. Compounds of mercury are stable (as opposed to salts of mercury). This is why thimerosol is safe and, incidently, why amalgam filling are safe. The mercury itself cannot " get out " of the compound to cause health problems. Of course, we have some people who don't understand this and say that it is a dangerous compound and therefore makes the vaccines dangerous. These same folks would probably find problems with salt, because the chloride in salt is dangerous or the iodine we add to it is dangerous. Meanwhile the iodine in salt prevents goiter which was a significant health issue for thousands of years and caused illness and death all over the world. Thanks for your input. I doubt the red spots are allergic reactions. But if you'd like to have that confirmed so you can really worry about, and probably find about 20 or 30 other foods you're " allergic " to and therefore must avoid, see a homeopath/naturopath for allergy testing. Slight warning. They will find that you're allergic to most or all of your favourite foods and the diet they will give you will be very restrictive and difficult to follow. I'm sure the red spots are a non-bowel sign of your disease flaring and nothing more. Aubrey
