Guest guest
Hi Ev.... Do you have a Rheumatologist in mind? Yes, the Rheumys are experienced in the muscles but not all Rheumys know about Myositis. If you can give me your location I can see if there are any doctors in your area that can help you. If I remember correctly your in Texas aren't you? What part? I'm so sorry your feeling bad.... the swallowing is part of the myosits. I still have problems at times with my swallowing when I get tired or overdue it. Rest, take small bites and chew it up really good before you swallow is the best advice I can give you. I'm sure your Prednisone level will be changed when you see the new doctor. If I can help you find a doctor, just let me know. Gentle hugs Vicki-PM
Guest guest
Dear Vicky, I haven,t heared from Dr. Le,s nurse yet. There is only one Rhuemotolgist listed in Tomball, Tex. His name is S. Arif Ali, M.D. Thanks for your offer in finding a Dr. I will see how I like Dr. Ali. Seems like there are an influx of foreign Drs. emerging on the american medical field. Have you found that so? Thanks also, for your encourging words. Thats what I like about your website--you all are so encourging. Love, Ev.
