hi there - correction to last post-anesthesia stuff.....

as far as the girl w/ Lipo... she probably felt stuff but never knew it later...I am sorry if this came off the wrong way.... This was not meant to scare you as I am sure she did not remember a stich of it later....the point I was making is she was so far "out of it" she will never remember it later which I think is the point of this sedation.... you are so loopy you do not remember any details of the surgery or the pain... Kinda like when they gas you for dental stuff.... you know what they are doing but you just do not care as you are so weird feeling & doped up- like floating on a cloud and whatever they do feels so fast - I have had a ton of dental work like this and never remember the pain. I am sure I had some discomfort as well but if afterwards you can not remember then it is as if you were totally out as far as you are concerned... I had three operations with this "PS" this way and on only one do I remember anything.... all the girls talking of what they were ordering in for lunch.... I do not recall feeling any pain until I was in recovery being woken up....this would be the only drawback I could mention for myself as in the hospital, in recovery-post-op, they monitor you constantly and if you are in a lot of post op pain, they give you something to calm it as well as something for nausea if you are prone to vomit from the anesthesia like I am...this was a major plus for me as I always got sick after surgery (all three augmentations and numerous wisdom teeth extractions under local/sedation as well) until my explant as they controlled the vomiting... they also used "General" for both of my sinus surgeries after my explant and did the same thing - I never got sick after any of these. this was nice. This would be a major benefit to finding a doc in your plan that will use a surgery center/hospital... the can administer meds post op if you are sick, etc. the doc office can not.

LEYNA:

Sorry if I scared you unintentionally... I did not mean to - if you have to use a doc at his office I am sure they will sedate you to the point that you will not remember the surgery - I can not imagine that they would not.. if you are worried - please ask them..... it never hurts....
