OT.Homeschool materials

I have bought somethings from this homeschool site called Rainbow

resources.Books about history,science,and such.One such book I bout,and I hope I

don`t start something.I did put OT in the heading.Intelegent Design Vs

Evolution.I`m trying to be open minded about both,Cause i know they expect you

to teach evolution,but i`m getting my materials through a cristian homeschool

site.Personally,i don`t want to teach evolution,or want anyone else teaching it

to my child,but,in this manner,maybe i can teach it.Anyway,I have a feeling they

will try and fight me on it,so,I may end up having to send her back to school in

August.I still say Dick and Jane will help teach my daughter to read.Hayley took

a short Dick and Jane book to school to read,and some kids told her Dick was a

bad word.She didn`t get to read her book,but i think,becasue they ran out of

time.Not sure.I did not hear anything about this.The reason I know,she told my

friend,who was a teacher,and i had Hayley read a Dick nand Jane book to her

before this happened.So Hayley tells her this on the phone and she explains,it

is a person`s name,and some people made it into a bad word.Cripe,we read this

stuff in the early 70s and it was not considered a bad word,to my

knowledge,then.The loss of innocence.There is this one part,that says,big big

Dick,and little Sally,or something like that,and yeh,when I read it,recently,it

hit me,but,back then,it did not.Like the word gay,that used to mean

happy.Anyway,I plan to keep having her read the books.If they don`t like it,too

bad.I think,they help teach kids to read.
