Guest guest
Well, I got an email back from this ps....this is exactly what she wrote: " My assistant already told me about you. I do perform capsulectomy and I routinely use drains for all breast surgeries.(I do not like the fluid to build up)I look forward to seeing you. " sounds promising. I almost feeling like holding off on some of the others I am calling, because when I call, the receptionist doesn't know if they do en bloc or not. I will see this new ps next week. And I will surely give you the run down then. I am very optimistic at this point. Thank you all for helping me fine tune my searches. I want to be able to recommend a Chicago ps for your list! > > hi all, > > > > I have set up an appointment with another PS. Guest guest
She's sounding like a winner! . .. I'll bet she's had it up to "here" cleaning up other surgeon's messes! Guest guest
I agree - this surgeon sounds like a winner. I wonder if women surgeons are generally more sensitive to these issues. Don't know, but I wouldn't doubt it. > > > hi all, > > > > > > I have set up an appointment with another PS. Guest guest
I bet you are right, Rogene! Speaking of other people's messes - I haven't heard from my original PS regarding my request for an operating report. I was told to ask my 'consultant'; I called again tonight and they gave me b.s. to leave a msg on the dr's voice mail, and that his wife will take care of it, but they didn't know if they'd have it from 10 years ago. (I wonder how long legally they are supposed to keep them) The 2nd ps emailed me again asking if I could obtain any photographs of my breast prior to augmentation....well, the only ones I know of (joke, joke) were taken by the original surgeon...now wish me luck in trying to get those. The receptionist, was, of course, bored and rude. I know that the new ps really wants you to come armed w/ info and I am doing my best. Now the original surgeon will know I am not coming back to him, so he will probably make this more difficult. > > > hi all, > > > > > > I have set up an appointment with another PS.
