Guest guest
Shari, A lot of the anesthetics that don't put you out completely have a drug that erases your memory of the procedure. It is given with many procedures when a general is not needed. As for lipo without anesthesia, I had it and it was terribly painful. I had revision of my vertical c-section scar with anesthesia. I strained an abdominal muscle and was given a steroid shot to calm it down. The injection ate the surrounding tissue. The PS said he would simply pull a bit of fat out from my leg and reinject it into my abdomen. It was only a tiny amount of fat but it was very invasive and extremely painful. They do numb the area but to numb it they have to use the canula. Guest guest
Liposuction sounds terrible! And it's the number one surgical procedure, isn't it? I wonder if there are any liposuction support groups?????? Brigite, your post was the first I heard that nerve damage was possible. That's scary!
