Guest guest
Bo, Our daughter is 19 and we have tried everything for reflux. She has been on Reglan in the past and it did'nt work well for her. Gave her diaheria. She was on Cisapride when it went off the market and had been on it for years. Help alot but still had some problems with reflux. She did have a fundoplication when she was 4. Anyway we did all the paper to get the drug form the company took forever something like 7 months and lots of test. Blood work and a upper GI. Then turned 18 during this process and we had to start over again with the adults forms. At that point we decided to try other meds. She was Zantac for a while that help and sometimes just a tums would help. She is now on Prevacid and this seems to be working well. Not a cure but a big difference in on often she has reflux.
