Guest guest
Hi Eren, yes, I have been on Bee's diet for over 3 years, and have been seeing so many improvements. The organic eggs, the coconut oil, and those other foods, you have to start with slowly, as they cause you to detox, and reactions, can be unpleasant. You do not want to avoid them entirely, as that is how you will finally heal. If you have already been low sugar, it will not be as hard on you. Not sure what you mean by LOD. I am now not as sensitive to lights, and sounds as I was. It sounds like you are already going through detox, and at times you will feel worse, so try to not give up, as better times are ahead. Not sure I ever had full blown fibro, but was certainly on the path to it the first few years I found myself battling candida. I was quite often extremely physically sensitive as both a child and adult, and as I started working on my candida I noticed a huge relief from aches and pains when it was under control. I regularly got flu like symptoms when I ate something with a lot of sugar. I have always been very sensitive to light, sound, and smells, except when I was on an SSRI for several years. It was after I finally got off of it that everything really started falling apart. Now I have a handle on things doing a ketogenic diet, but sometimes it's just so hard, especially since I have soooo many allergies. I am also still going into periods of a few days to a few weeks of intense sensitivity to sound, sometimes I actually have to stick cotton in my ears if someone is talking close by me for too long. > > But here is my question: have any of you that are sensitive to certain low carb-safe foods (like eggs, coconut oil, cheese, etc) found that in time on a keto diet you could eat these things? I am also on a LOD, which makes my eating plan extremely restrictive and sometimes I feel SO TRAPPED! I would LOVE to be able to add pastured eggs and raw cheese back into my life, or eat coconut oil for more than one day in a row without getting itchy or breaking out. I would love to hear success stories if they are out there! > > Thanks everyone, > Eren > > > > > >
Guest guest
Thank you & Joanne, It's really helpful to have other people to talk to about this stuff.. oftentimes it feels like I'm in an invisible wheelchair, if that makes any sense.. like right away when people meet me we get along great, and then they find out I can't go out to eat or drink, and I'm extremely sensitive to cigarette smoke and synthetic fragrance and very loud noise, among other things, and it creates a divide with them that is hard to get over.. the worst part is frequently having to cancel plans last minute because I feel too tired to do anything. I'm only 24 years old and I'm too scared to even go out on dates because my baggage is so heavy with all of this and I feel like it will be more than a guy will want to take on. There are so many things I am grateful for in this world, but it sure can be a heavy burden to carry so much at times. Sigh.. thanks for listening. Oh and by the way LOD is low oxalate diet. It has helped a lot with my general well-being, but only in combo with a nutrient dense very low carb diet. Right now I mainly eat boiled grass-fed ground beef, with either broccoli, mushroom, cabbage, or summer squash, with 3 tablespoons of melted suet and sprinkled with some grass-fed gelatin and a spoonful of raw sauerkraut. I also eat a fair amount of grass-fed bison liver, and occasionally boiled chicken or fish, and then spoonfuls of coconut oil rotated in and out and raw peeled cucumbers. My diet gets so boring and I miss eggs and cheese a lot! I also worry that I am not getting enough nutrients from diet alone, but those darn supplements make me break out like crazy. I will just have to talk to Bee, I suppose.. maybe it will be helpful Thanks again ladies Eren > > > > Eren > > > > It is Bees Candida diet I am on but I do do it ketogenically, > > > > http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/foodslist.php > > > Love Joanne > > > Â > > Hi all, > > New here.
