Sis, we will work together to get off of this drug. If it is the cause of my weight gain, I will be very angry. The doctors should know this. Thank you for the web-site.

Sending love...Lea

Dearest Sis:

Thank you. I have dropped my dose to 3 Xanax a day, and I plan on dropping the dose again on the week-end. Taking this drug worries me because it could be doing more damage to me. We just do not know what these drugs do to our body.

Take care honey....Love always..........Lea

Lea, Be careful about dropping too quickly . . . know how you feel before cutting Xanax back too much. . . .You've been on it this long, taking your time to get off won't make any difference at this point. The last thing you want is to create a crisis. Rogene

Dearest Rogene:

Thank you for this, I will be careful. I am waking up more often now that I have dropped the dose. We do not need any more health problems, we have so much to do to build our basement. It is difficult having men around, but we have no choice, we need more room. is writing more courses for the university and he still has 120 students to care for. He loves working from home and has so many history books, he will need a big library. I do miss our pretty castle, but the memories there were not good, as you know.

Take care of your arm, and I am sorry that you are still having problems.

Sending love always.........Lea

Thank you :

I am still going to take this drug, because I not able to take painkillers. We must listen to our bodies because we know what are symptoms are. I know that I have Lupus/MS, and at the moment I am having a painful flare. My rheumatologist called me this morning, and he told me that my bones are stable, but he warned me about climbing on ladders or chairs. He has always told me that I have a Lupus flush on my face; however, he claims that I do not have Lupus, but my family doctor claims that I do! I know that I do, too.

Stay close love always...........Lea

Re: Xanax- silicon dioxide

Rogene's right, Lea...I've gone off Xanax before; I was taking 3 mg total/day, and mypsychiatrist had me going down only 0.225 mg/day, with an interval of6 weeks. So, down 0.225 mg for 6 weeks, then down another 0.225 mgfor six more weeks, etc. That would be 6 week intervals X 4 or 36weeks which would be 9 months. It took 9 months to go off the 3mg/day entirely. It doesn't matter how long it takes you to get off.But if you cut it too much, too quick, it can result in seizures. >> Lea,> > Be careful about dropping too quickly . . . know how you feelbefore cutting Xanax back too much. . . .You've been on it this long, taking your time to get off won't make any difference at this point.> > The last thing you want is to create a crisis.> > Rogene>
