I just wanted to add that if you have a health food store nearby you can

probably also get the dandelion root tincture which is just added to

water/juice. Some might find that an easier alternative.

here's to improving health!

Hi, ,

I have Dandelion caps that I get from the health food store. They are the

Solaray brand. Plus I have Dandelion tea, which one can kind of have a taste

like a coffee, if they don't drink coffee or can't.

  • 4 weeks later...

Someone mentioned earlier whether or not Dandelion was ok for the gallbladder.

I noticed this at: www.viableherbalsolutions. This is what they say about

dandelion on the ingredients

list of one of their products called Total Cleanse:

" DANDELION seems to have some potential for fighting cancer. The Chinese use

Dandelion to treat infections, pneumonia, liver disease and cancer of

the breast. By stimulating liver activity, this herb encourages the elimination

of toxins in the blood. It also stimulates the flow of bile and excretion of

urea. "

I've noticed dandelion in most detox products. It seems so important for the

liver and bile, I can't imagine it being bad for the gallbladder. But I'm no

expert, and hey, I don't even

have a gallbladder anymore.....just interested in learning more. Thought I'd

pass this along.
