Hi Joanne,

I do think, that a person's faith can help, and I am not totally familiar with

the 12 step program. I do believe in God, and prayer to him can help us to

resist aspects of any thing that is against bible principals, such as

overeating, over drinking, or smoking. Following all those bible principals

would result in better heath, and improved nutrition. However, one has to be

careful of some programs, as even Satan quoted scripture to Jesus. Satan and

his agents can look like an " angel of light " , 2 Corinthians 11:13-15. I would

myself, not read L. Ron Hubbard's books. As he started his own religious

group-Scientology. Notice their program costs thousands of dollars. Just

because someone is spiritually minded, we have to be careful, as that person may

not have God's spirit. There has been some discussion in Bee's group about, I

think Alanon. Hope this helps.

control, and or help with all the other stuff I could clearly see was radiationg

from this, but very littlethat worked, and in fact some o the theray I had made

things worse, certainly made my PTSD worse, and self esteem affected by a lot of

it

therapist, she see things much like we do here, and she uses nutrition, and no

drugs to treat herself in much the same way we do here

hey are just every day folk that have chosen to deal with their lives in a

spiritual non-drug way. They are really the only friends, apart from the folk

here on this board that can understand me, and who give to me, in the sense of

what I really need

>

> Other folk in my life all need from me, if that makes sense, they are all

pretty poorly with the diet and drugs and prescription drugs and so on. I am

able to love and give to them, but sometimes this can exhaust me, when this

happens it is to my friends at Alanon that I go running. They are happy to come

ti church with me, go for walks in the country side and simply live simple

whilst I get all my sadness off my chest. The troubled folk in my life cannot do

this for me, but it is the troubled folk in my life who would benefit from all

the things we share here

different than we actually expect.

rate using nutrition to help people beat addiction. They also run a therapy

program designed by Ron L Hubbard, Bee recommends his work, I dont know if I

will be able to get this at the lirary, the book she recommends is a bit costly.

But this might be interesting

take good nutriton in and get the toxicity out, I try to bring good spiritual

people, places and things into my life and do all I can to keep toxic people

places and things out of my life. Alanon helps me to identify things that will

bring me trouble and I think it does this well simply because there are no

trained staff there. There are no medics, no councelloers, no psychiatrist or

anything even remotely like that. All there is is eveyday folk like there is

here at this site, and all we do is share our experiences as to how we escaped

the clutches of either our own addictions or the addictions of others, which in

some cases can be just as deadly

>

> Alanon is voluntery, it is free, they dont even take your name and dont have

a file on you, which is why I recommend it, nobody can exploit you there.

Narcocon, which is defiantly the most successful rogram for helping folk with

these illnesses is extemely expensive, $1000s of dollars. I would never have

been able to afford that which is why I am so thankful for bee, she is offtering

a similar service basically for free, and anything we do have to buy in

relation to getting well is considerably cheaper than most similar therapies

>

> When I get chance I will share more about all this, I am so behind with these

emails, mainly because I cannot get online easily, but never mind something

will work out
