Guest guest
I do hope the topic of accountability with professionals will be taken with the intent it was meant. I am coming from a compassionate standpoint. I, myself, have made amends to my family doctor for not following his advice, at times, and disappearing for a couple of years, at walk-in clinics. I am being honest with him about my approach with " original " medicine, as I like to call alternative medicine, and he is working with me, respecting my desire to be drug free. He is running a bunch of tests on my lungs now, and sending me to a respiratory specialist. I have had alot of compassionate and caring medical professionals in my life. However, when they are not that way, and blatantly abusive, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally, counts too, it's important, I believe, for someone to say something, so others after us do not get mistreated. It's the same way in any area in life. I hope this site can remain a safe place for women to share their honest feelings, without fear of a doctor reading a post and judging us unfairly. Joke for the Day Joke for the Day: GET WELL MESSAGE As a police officer was recovering from appendix surgery, he felt a strange feeling on his chest, like a tugging on the hairs. So he lifted his gown to look at the chest area, and saw three wide pieces of tape across his chest. On them was a message written, " this is from the nurse who got a ticket from you the other day!
