Guest guest
I think there's a lot of misunderstanding about carbohydrates ( " carbs " ). Instead of our diets being no- or low-- carbs, we should be talking about avoiding simple carbohydrates, such as white sugar and white flour. Broccoli is mostly carbohydrate (about 92%), as is spinach. And green beans. In fact, most of most of the healthy food we eat is carbohydrate. Don't take my word for it--it's easy enough to look up. The Atkins diet is really really unhealthy. I can't think of a worse diet for fm sufferers. Way too much protein. Way way too much fat. > > http://ladyliberty8.xanga.com/567238730/you-can-heal-yourself/ > > This article contains a lot of information about our health and how what we eat can affect it. You really do not need to know all this immediately but I have decided to post it so that if any of you want an article to quickly and easily refer to you will have one > > Please remember that all this information we have here on this site has taken several years to put together and none of us new this qucikly and even now all of us are still learning about this. > > Anybody that has not used low carbing before to help them with their health might be better getting hold of the Atkins book and following his guidelines because to be honest Dr Atkins stuff is very easy to read. This stuff by Bee and the other writers is really more of use when you have been low carbing for a while. It helps us select better foods and supplements etc, but really just simply getting our carbs down is best at the beginning. Once we have them down and we start feeling better thats when we can learn this additional stuff. But it is all good and it can all get us extemely well, extremely well indeed > > Kind regards > > Joanne > > > > >
