Anne-Marie,love the cheer! YOU are such a " card! " I find it very

interesting that at least 3 of us in this little group have a lazy

eye. I gather the eye surgery helped you a lot Anne-Marie but did not

totally " cure " the problem? What was the surgery like- I am squemish

when it comes to eyes and knives...... I think I will work on the eye

exercises for a while until my next eye appointment. Teddi- so far so

good re: glaucoma and cataracts- I get tested every year for them. My

problem isn't related to medications. Vicki- I've read that myo

affecting the eyes IS relatively rare. Fern- you sound just like

me.It is so hard to keep that eye lined up when tired.

It's hot here and I am a bit crabby- but I guess it's hot most

everywhere right now. My ancient kitty does not do well in the heat

either- really stresses out her old little body. I gave her fluids

subQ last night to help " pump " her up and help her kidneys, or what's

left of them. Later, all--- love

Yes, the surgery helped but did not toally fix the problem. I was under a

local anesthetic and they clipped the muscle of the right eye (no incision,

though). You need to know that was when I was young, dumb, and 22! Like I

would let them NEAR my eyes now at age 37 with a local anesthetic--NOT!!!

Anyway, I healed well and there was no infection or other problem. I wonder

if they do any of this type of surgery with laser now? I know lots of eye

surgery is now laser. Beats knives!
