Guest guest
The reaction is known as Herxheimer Reaction. http://www.x-l.net/Lyme/HERX.html http://www.x-l.net/Lyme/abstracts/herx/herx.collection.html It has varying effects upon people. But for all the basics it simply makes what has already been a problem hurt all the more. In my case it resulted in extreme joint pain from my arthritis. I did a special diet a number of years ago just to test (basic to an Atkins protein diet) to see if I did have that reaction to determine if I did have a candida albican problem. I did. But by the good of all that can be I finally overcame that problem by diet and have never looked back, now that I control the amounts of sugars I take in. The reaction can also be noticed with those who also start on weight loss diets too. It tends to happen when the fat cells start to let out the toxins that may have been contained in them from a number of years of poor eating habits or just from particular types of industrial intake of toxins. Guest guest
Thanks dale. I just recently had a stool test and it revealed yeast and also a pathogen. Also a low Bifido count. So he put me on a natural agent to kill off the pathogen and yeast along with probiotics. I've been on a diet plan to combat the arthritis and it had reduced joint pain by 80 percent. Well after getting on the probiotics and such joint pain hit me like a ton of bricks. I've been in major pain for over a week. It does let up by evening. And it seems to be lessening a tad. But it must be the Reaction because I've been a very good patient. Thanks alot. laura ----- Original Message ----- From: " Dale " <Da_@...> <gallstones > Sent: Friday, February 01, 2002 10:15 PM Subject: Re: Dale!! > The reaction is known as Herxheimer Reaction. > http://www.x-l.net/Lyme/HERX.html > http://www.x-l.net/Lyme/abstracts/herx/herx.collection.html > It has varying effects upon people.
