Guest guest
, not sure how it works in the U.S. but in Canada we report a physician to the Medical Association...it goes by province here. Also, a copy to the hospital he/she works through. It was a gruelly process to go through, and I never did get an apology or anyone being accountable for their actions. I had a patient advocate assigned to me. She was very caring, yet placating at the same time. She told me from the beginning, " don't expect too much " . The one thing that DOES happen is that there is a black mark against them in their file. So if anyone else reports them they add up, and hopefully are spoken to one day.
