Hi,

>how do you know that the juice has lasted.

I guess I don't but even the last bottle gets consumed within 4 hours of

juicing, I keep it cold in a cool bag with an ice pack and the juice has as

little exposure to the air as possible. The moment it's juiced I bottle it

ASAP. Also, the first bottle I drink straight from the juicer after mixing

it in a blender with Dr Schulze's SuperFood and some mineral water. The 2nd

bottle I drink soon after that on the way to work. The 3rd I drink when I

first arrive at work ...

I haven't done this as the first 500ml (2 cups?) I basically drink fresh

from the juicer. If I froze it from the night before I wouldn't ever get to

drink fresh juice. Plus, how long does the juice take to freeze?

You might well be right here, I don't know.

No, they are all healthier than me and I have more sick days, thats why I'm

doing the cleansing.

I work in the UK in a male dominated office. If I started talking about

healthy eating no one would listen and would probably think I'm weird. Never

in a million years would I ever mention a liver flush! If I drank my various

coloured juices from a clear bottle I would get totally worn down after a

few weeks by all the 'amusing' comments passed to me. Some people take the

p**s of out me for drinking herbal teas at work.

I started cleansing last December. I have done a parasite, 2 liver flushes,

kidney, intestine cleanse ( Dr Schulze's IC1 & IC2) and I've just started on

Primal Defense to amongst other things sort out the bacteria in my gut ( If

anyone wants to learn more about any of these then I suggest joining the

bowel cleanse group) . I don't feel better yet but I know I will do soon.

Juicing doesn't actually make me feel any better or any worse at the moment.

Perhaps I should go on a proper juice fast, but I don't like colonics so I

don't want to shut down my digestion system totally. Juice fasts / diets

come and go but I really enjoy my morning juice and I'll probably continue

with it every day for a long time. When I next do a liver flush I'll do the

whole day on juice.

I haven't done a liver cleanse yet, but am working toward it. I noticed Dr.

's liver cleanse says you can eat light meals until 2:00 the day of the

cleanse. I'm wondering if most

people do this, or is it better to do a juice fast beforehand, and if so, for

how long?

you are not alone, the UK are way behind everywhere else when it comes

of me for the last 3 years because of my beliefs in these remedies, even my

daughter calls me a Whacky New Age Hippy and rolls her eyes in despair if I

mention anything alternative. I don't really care though, when they suddenly

see that I am healing and they are getting sick, they will realise that I had

it right and they had it wrong. However, I think men can be far worse than

women so I understand why you want to keep it quiet.

If you are a 'sick' person, it would be very unwise of you to do a fast in my

opinion, you should really get advice on that one.

Wishing you every success on your journey to health.
