Guest guest
Paz, I've had irregular heartbeat since I was about that age, now in my 50's. It has gotten better in some ways and worse in others. Certain foods (the big 3) definitely cause problems. The biggest helpers are salmon oil (I take Carlson's Norwegian 2X a day), magnesium and potassium, hawthorn (standardized... I take once a day) ... It also helps to take a brisk walk every day for 20 minutes. I would recommend that he get tested for nutrient levels to see where he's deficient. Something else could be the root of it, hormones levels, for ex. I really encourage him to try natural approaches before going on any meds or having surgery... I learned the hard way. (No surgery but a doctor put me on propanolol ... Five days later I collapsed with fibromyalgia.) If he would like to communicate with me directly, I'd be glad to share my experience. > I posted this question in Bee's site but maybe somebody here can also help me with this.. > > My sister told me today that the doctors found an irregular heart beat when he lays down. She said that it's not anxiety, that my heart is doing something irregular. My blood tests were all clean and good. There is no need to panic. She said there is a small chance that this is something very very serious. There is either something physically wrong with my heart or the electric currents that make it beat are irregular. A heart doctor needs to see me to make sure that it's something o.k and I just have to live with it or get it taken care of. When she looked at the heart monitor I had to wear for 24 hours, she said my heart was irregular when I laid in bed or when I was asleep, but during the rest of the day my heart beats regularly. I noticed this also when I lay on the left side of my body. My heart beats very slowly, way slower that the average person during those 30 second episodes, and at times it speeds up. But don't worry my heart and body are the best and I trust them. > > I would really appreciate your input. > Thank you in advance. > > Paz > >
Guest guest
Ultra sound tests? Could be a Mitral valve issue, I had the same issue when I was in my teens but it went away on its own. My wife has suffered with a progressive Mitral valve stenosis that continued to worsen as the years went by. She was advised that surgery would be necessary while she is young enough for a speedy recovery. After treating her with a protocol (Dr. Budwig's) for cancer and after just one year she got a clean scan for it with a side effect, the stenosis went from 1.3cm/2 to 3.7cm/2, of course they did the test several times thinking there were testing problems but not, they were scratching their heads, she has never been on any drugs for this issue. She is 59. ________________________________ To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Monday, April 9, 2012 1:09 PM Subject: Question about my nephew's heart (22 years old) Â I posted this question in Bee's site but maybe somebody here can also help me with this..
