Guest guest
I posted this question in Bee's site but maybe somebody here can also help me with this.. My sister told me today that the doctors found an irregular heart beat when he lays down. My nephew is 22 years old. They said it could be minor or major, so I would like to get an opinion on this. This is what my nephew wrote: Hi mom I just got back from the doctor. She said that it's not anxiety, that my heart is doing something irregular. My blood tests were all clean and good. There is no need to panic. She said there is a small chance that this is something very very serious. There is either something physically wrong with my heart or the electric currents that make it beat are irregular. A heart doctor needs to see me to make sure that it's something o.k and I just have to live with it or get it taken care of. When she looked at the heart monitor I had to wear for 24 hours, she said my heart was irregular when I laid in bed or when I was asleep, but during the rest of the day my heart beats regularly. I noticed this also when I lay on the left side of my body. My heart beats very slowly, way slower that the average person during those 30 second episodes, and at times it speeds up. But don't worry my heart and body are the best and I trust them. I would really appreciate your input. Thank you in advance. Paz
