We had a really nice weeekend . . . square dancing in Oklahoma. . . We were concerned that the roads might get iced and we'd have to cancel . . . but we were fine. Areas north of where we were did have problems! The group was about half of what was expected. Rogene gibbense@... wrote: Rogene, I hope your trip was for fun? Let us know when you get

Hi Rogene!

What part of OK did you visit? It was terrible here!

LOL! We dance at the Challenge level - do-si-do's are few and far between. My analogy of Challenge dancing is the caller giving us a puzzle - all eight people try to solve their part of the puzzle and be in the right place for the next puzzle . . .When everyone gets the whole tip right, it's a real kick! At the challenge level, hand holds aren't as important - to most dancers. I used my left arm in place of my right when I needed to give, or receive, a clue as to the direction to go. Added to the "challenge"! I told our friends that, if they thought it was bad dancing a tip with a one handed dancer, they should try dancing with her all day! LOL - they were really nice about it! We were at Lake Murray - just north of Texas . . . Cold as could be, but the roads were completely clear. Some of our Tulsa friends couldn't make it.Kenda Skaggs <skaggs@...> wrote: Hi Rogene! What part of OK did you visit? Rogene, I would love to dance! I miss it. My friend invited

me to a dance this weekend where she is entertaining. And she wants

me to sing Que Sera Sera, my Grandma's (Dad's Mom) favorite song. I

can still hear her singing it to me...I was 9 yrs. old when she passed

away.

Oh, my....I'm healing, even emotionally and my talents are coming

back. Praise God!!! Maybe I'll find a quick-stepper to dance with

on Sat. night!! LOL

Love & Hugs,

Sunny :)

Sunny - I'm so glad to hear you are doing so well! Dancing is so much fun! I think it's a inate part of being human. It's been 12 years since I had my implants out and I'm still healing too! . . .One of our friends remarked on how much better I appeared to look/feel than I did just six years ago when we moved here. . . (despite aging). I need to get serious about losing weight - but otherwise (aside from my arm), I feeling wonderful! Rogene Sunny <wellnessnow@...> wrote: Rogene, I would love to dance! I miss it.
