And one more thing...It's me again (debbie). I just read what I posted and I used the word "bacterial" instead of bacteria... This is so unlike me...slurring words or using wrong words and I'm finding this happening more and more. debmarie007 <debmarie007@...> wrote: I discovered your website and just signed up last night...I have been experiencing severe brain fog and memory problems for the past 3 or 4 years and it is getting worse and throughout the day and I find find myself sitting and

This is affecting my job performance at work...and being in sales, I have to be able to remember things...a lot of my success depends on my energy level and ability to interact with others. I've had saline implants for 13 years, Three or 4 years ago (when the problems began) I was diagnosed with ADD (attention deficit disorder) and a neurologist put me on Ritalin but now it's gotten to the point now where I simply cannot function without the ritalin and now your website has me wondering IF I'm even ADD at all. Several months ago, I started complaining of the severity of my symptoms to my ADD doctor and he sent me for an MRI and other tests...referred to several other doctors,... and the last one--a rheumatologist told me I was "depressed"... in other words, depression hurts ... I also performed a mold test in my home thinking THAT might be the problem. Yes I'm depressed... that's one of

the symptoms of mold...and I never thought to check INSIDE of my body for it! None of the doctors could find anything wrong with me but I have to admit I didn't even mention my implants to them because I was always told saline was safe. Also for the last 3-4 years my implants have not felt right in my body which all makes sense now...I can't really explain why they don't feel right...I'm not in pain or anything...they are just WEIRD feeling...I've always had some capsular contractor but lately they don't feel like they belong there. Perhaps my body is speaking to my brain. It feels like I have two foreign objects sitting on top of my chest. The implants did not feel like this in the past. I have nearly all of the symptoms described. Brain Fog, Memory Problems, Flu like aches and pains, tingling in my toes and now and a little bit of numbness on at least four of them, tired, depressed, creepy crawling

feelings, trouble sleeping, cold hands and feet...and I live in S. Florida where the climate is always warm. Can somebody point me in the right direction...I want to get these things taken out and am very frightened by the prospect of one of these rupturing and releasing bacterial into my body during the procedure. I need a referral on a doctor who thoroughly understands this condition and can treat me after the removel. I live in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Thanks for your help.Debbie

Debbie, Welcome! You're in the right place! . . . I've forwarded your message to a couple of our ladies in florida. Regardless of who, where your implants are removed, be sure to confirm that your doctor will commit to doing the "en bloc" procedure if at all possible - and if not , doing a complete capsulectomy. Very important for recovery! There's lots of info in the archives - I have a broke arm, so I'm not typing much , , , but stick around. You'll learn what you need to get your life back here! The news has been strangely silent on the dangers of saline implants . . .I could go on and on about it - but I won't. I'd suggest looking this site over thoroughly . . you'll be up to speed in no time! I'm afraid that the money interests associated with breast implants haven't been looking out after your interests! Thanks Rogene, now that I've thought about it, how could saline not get fungus or mold at 98 degree temperatures year after year...it defies the laws of nature for these NOT to get mold.Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: The news has been strangely silent on the dangers of saline implants . . .I could go on and on about it - but I won't. You got it! The body gradually breaks the shell down, allowing body fluids to move in and out . . . Check out what Dr. Blais has to say. He found 22 organisms growing in Shari's implants. Deb,

Don't feel bad for not knowing I had my saline implants for 20

years, for ten years I was sick never even considering it was the

implants because I was told it was only silicone making women sick,

When I had my saline removed guess what the pathology report was

positive for silicone in the breast tissue, I thought how is that

possible when I had saline, All the implants have a silicone shell!!,

They didn't tell us, and they don't last a lifetime and they are not

safe

-Welcome Deb!

Even if you watched the news and 'researched' it was hard to find

info on the dangers of saline implants, too. The full truth, in my

opinion, is just not in the mainstream media. Which is how we all

wound up in this situation in the first place. Take heart, really,

this may be the beginning of a wonderful healing for you!

I have not been to a doctor in quite some time...in fact I was told I had Fibromyalgia a few years after I got my implants and I have had them for 15 years. I don't have insurance, but I do need to know what I should do now before I get them explanted. Should I have some tests done now? Do I need to go to a Reumatologist again? I guess I want to have something to measure(as far as tests) for when I get them out. Can I get tested for molds and stuff in my body now? Are there tests I can do before and after explantation? I have so many symtoms. Neck and shoulder stiffness, digestive problems, vulvodynia, vision problems, memory problems, joint pain, tiredness and fatigue and the list just goes on and on. I really feel that I will not make it much longer...I'm pretty tough when it comes to pain so for me to say I'm hurting is a lot. I need to know what type of doctor I should go to to get more "before" tests

so that I can get the "after" tests and see the difference as well as feel the difference. I hope this is making sense. It's been a long day waiting tables and I'm tired and a little down. Thanks! . . . Unless there is a possibility that you can get something in a settlement, I wouldn't worry about seeing a doctor unless you have an immediate need for medical care. . . For one thing, the DX's that will become part of your record will affect your insurability . . and, if you're like most of the women we see, your symptoms will start fading soon after explant. You'll spend a bundle on tests that don't find anything, and more on medications that may make things worse. To keep track of your progress, keep a journal of how you feel, what you're doing, as well as any detox programs you do and how you feel on them. After you start feeling better, you'll probably have some bad days when you wonder if it will ever end. That's when you can look back in your journal and see how far you've come. You can send your implants and capsules to

Dr, Blais in Canada. He can tell you what was in them. . . However, it takes months to get his report . . . It probably won't mean much by that time. You most likely do have a systemic fungal problem. "The Maker's Diet" - Rubin can help you with a program of diet and supplements that will help you restore a healthy digestive system. www.appleadayandbeyond.com has the best prices by phone, FAX or snail mail. NOT online. . . I highly recommend starting with one bottle of Fungal Defense, followed by Primal Defense indefinitely. . . You'll be fighting an uphill battle until your implants are out though. Hugs, Rogene

Ah, yes, the symptoms. I experienced just about everything you described. Poor girl!

As far as tests, all of my tests were normal, every time. I just had another complete blood panel-- all normal again. In some ways it is reassuring, and in another it is exasperating. But I am hopeful.

Try and believe that once your implants are out, you will recover. Going to lots of doctors and specialists and getting lots of tests often results in a frustrating dead end. Each doctor has a different diagnosis, different treatment, etc.

Your symptoms are a systemic reaction to your implants. You may have mold (lots of women with saline implants do). You may be reacting to the filler or the silicone shell. The research is inconclusive on exactly how women get sick from implants, but there is plenty of evidence that many, many women do, with very similiar symptoms. Sadly, I believe many never make the connection to their implants. We were all there once ourselves. We all wanted to believe what they told us-- that implants are totally safe.

I would copy every email you find useful and/or print out all information that you think will help you in your process to get through the explant and begin your recovery, and keep it all in a folder. With the memory problems it can be difficult to remember it all, and it is comforting to have a hard copy to refer to, rather than trying to find everything again on the net.

Though I know the physical problems you are experiencing are dang awful, the fact that you are able to work at all is a good sign. My guess is that you'll recover nicely. Once they are out, we'll help you with your recovery.

Re: Need doctor referral in S. Florida

I need to know what type of doctor I should go to to get more "before" tests so that I can get the "after" tests and see the difference as well as feel the difference. I hope this is making sense. It's been a long day waiting tables and I'm tired and a little down. Thanks!

You got it!

The body gradually breaks the shell down, allowing body fluids to move in and out . . . Check out what Dr. Blais has to say. He found 22 organisms growing in Shari's implants.

Thanks Rogene, now that I've thought about it, how could saline not get fungus or mold at 98 degree temperatures year after year...it defies the laws of nature for these NOT to get mold.Rogene S <saxony01 > wrote:

The news has been strangely silent on the dangers of saline implants . . .I could go on and on about it - but I won't.

I'd suggest looking this site over thoroughly . . you'll be up to speed in no time!

I'm afraid that the money interests associated with breast implants haven't been looking out after your interests!

Thank you so much...i'm anxiously awaiting their email. I'm still in shock that I had no clue about saline being a problem until yesterday...I thought I kept up on the news, but apparently I've been so caught up in my job over the last several years that I missed it.

Debbie,

Welcome!

There's lots of info in the archives -

Rogene, That is some very good info. I will look into all of this. It's got to go uphill from here :) Thanks. Rogene S <saxony01@...> wrote: . . . - Some things that can help you get started are: All of the following are natural anti-fungals/antioxidents - and affordable! Eating raw, fresh, crushed garlic - as many as 12 cloves a day (start slow because your stomach may do flip-flops when you start). This is the best! You can eat it straight, put it on a salad - or fill empty gel caps. Oil of Oregano (capsules are available) Olive Leaf extract (capsules are available) Grapefruit seed extract (capsules are available) When starting any of these, start slow because you will likely feel the Herximer effect as toxins are stirred up and your body works at eliminating them. The goal is to keep the effects bearable. If you overdo it, it will become a deterrant to further detoxing. Drink a lot of non-chlorinated water - at least 1/2 ounce per pound of body weight per day. This will help flush the toxins. Diet wise - NO sugar! No artificial sweeteners. . Fungal organisms thrive on sugar and will cause sugar cravings. The first week or so will be the toughest. No refined grains or processed foods either. Go for the whole grains, fresh fruits and veggies - raw or steam lightly as much as possible. Prepare foods from scratch. . . No microwaving, no fried food. Eat organic as much as possible. - Walmart is selling ground Bison (buffalo) that is antibiotic and sterioid free. Eliminate margarine . . .Use sea salt instead of table salt. . . coconut oil is very healthy. It will seem overwhelming when you start - don't let it be. If you'll gradually adopt new eating habits, you'll find foods you enjoy and soon find you don't miss the other stuff. If you

rush it, you'll find it stressful and probably give up before it has a chance to help you. Try to eliminate household chemicals. There are "green" options that will do an excellent job - and may even cost less. The ladies here can give you some suggestions. We've got a lot more things we can suggest - but this is a place to start. Hugs and prayers, Rogene <waltjenking@...> wrote:
