I happen to work in a Hospital in Louisiana P/T - and the nursing supervisor

just walked by: I asked her what the " HRF " stood for - she said: " High Risk for

Falls " . She went on to explain that to help track these patients for liability

reasons that may be the reasonings behind the " labeling " .
