Guest guest
Did you know that, in the time of the Roman empire, physicians were way low on the food chain? Most were slaves. The relatively few freedmen of that profession took to themselves the Greek title of Doktor, (I think that is how it was spelled) which title normally was awarded to those who'd achieved mastery in various areas of learning, to attempt to elevate their status in society. It seems that only in the last 500 years have they got anywhere. Its taken the nursing profession a long time relative to one person's lifetime, but a fraction of the time it took doctors. If we could clean up our act and come together, we could be there in a relatively short number of years. If... Don't what that's appropro of, but its late on Friday and I'm getting punchy.
