Comments from Lana . . My comment is that I feel there are a number if issues at work here that, without proper studies we can't understand. . . .Hypersensitivity/allergy is one part of the puzzle - another are the microorganisms that are introduced at surgery, or via implant, or grow from body organisms as the take up residence in/on implants. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they would study women who believe their illness is due to implants before approving another generation? the problem. Why is that some women have implants for many many years and show no symptoms? Why is that so many women have had their implants removed and they are still sick? Why is it that so many of our symptoms are also listed in the symptoms that people who suffer with allergies have: brain fog, flu like symptoms, stomach problems, fatigue, skin disorders, swollen joints, fibromyalgia, reflux problems, depression and so forth? If your body is having a negative reaction to the implants, why? Is it the implant? Or is it what the implant is made of? Silica- silicon dioxide- silicone. If platinum cause allergies and the body can become allergic to a rubber substance like latex then it only stand to reason that the body can become allergic to the silicone and it's components especially if the silicone has been mixed with platinum. The manufacture makes a small amount of money on the implants but I think

they make the majority of they're profits on treating us with medications that we don't know we're allergic too. The medications that are supposed to help us get well actually cause other unusual symptoms! If you developed an allergy to the silicone in the implants and that's why you became ill then you need to be tested so that your doctor can help you get the right medications. For example Xanax can be made by a compound pharmacist but your doctor won't order that the medication be made that way unless they have a blood confirmation of a silicon allergy. All of "our" medications are switched to silicon free meds and or made by a compound pharmacist. Because we do have a blood confirmation of a silicon allergy the insurance company pays for the compound medications, so did medica and medicare. One of the first medications my sons were prescribed after I figured out that they were sick because of the exposure to

the silicon dioxide - silicone - in my implants, had the implant manufactures label stamped right on the lid!Gee, I wonder if this is a accident? How much money have the manufacturers spent trying to cover this up?They send you home from surgery with silicon medications after removing a silicon implant that you have had an adverse reaction to. I don't know about anyone else but I don't think it's an accident and I am not surprised that the manufactures don't want to acknowledge the silicon hypersensitivity problems. Thanks for allowing me to share.
