Guest guest
I heard he wouldn't do that...also Dr Kolb said even she can't get 100% of it out,but she does the best that she can. The PS in norfolk Va says he will get all he can but can't swear to 100% either...guess its as close as 100 as they can.
Guest guest
Yes, it is as close to 100% as they can get, but there is a difference between those who really try hard to get it out, and those who just shrug their shoulders and say, "oh well, let's close this up." Dr. LU Feng will scrape the chest wall and tug and pull with both hands (get the picture?), while some will just take what they see and what comes easy and let it go at that. It takes a bit of dedication to what's right for the sake of the patient, and not all docs are like that. That's why it's important to stress it and let them know you expect them to live up to a higher standard of care. Guest guest
I spend an additional 45 min in surgery with Dr. Feng because she wanted to get it all out. The operative report list every area she had to scrape. I was shocked to see all the muscles the scar tissue was adheard to. I am so thankful she took the time to get it all out. Guest guest
I also want to point out the Dr. Melmed does know how important it is to get the capsules from silicone implants out.... If I had silicone implants, I would not worry. On the other hand, with saline - I probably would find someone else. > I heard he wouldn't do that...also Dr Kolb said even she can't get 100% of it out,but she does the best that she can.
