The reason I say this is that even if a person used the identical recipe for each flush, they would be likely to get different results. This is just because there are other factors involved. The size of the stones vary, for one thing. From what understand it is typical to get smaller stones out in the earlier flushes and larger stones later on. So if a person used ES with one flush and didn't with the next, how could they compare the two results when it's common to get varying results anyway. The gallbladder also needs to make it's own adjustments and sometimes the stones take time to move. A person could use ES and have varying results and another person could use no ES and get varying results. That's a long-winded way of answering your question, but I just don't see how there can be any accurate comparison. Just my .

It was my first one. However, I didn't fast any during the previous week because I just didn't know. So I did a cleanse similar to Dr. ' cleanse. Actually, pretty close except no organic apple juice before and no fasting at all. I passed tons of stuff but I was in horrible pain. So after I found out about Dr. 's cleanse, I did it that way. Except I also prepared a week in advance drinking my apple juice and eating very healthy. I had absolutely no pain during the cleanse and I was scared to death because of the previous one. Dr. isn't the only one who uses any kind of magnesium in her cleanse. Dr. Cabot uses ES in one of her cleansing recipes. I am pretty much a believer that magnesium relaxes those bile ducts just because of my experience. And then I've had GB attacks before and taken magnesium, only to have the pains subside. This is my experience. I take magnesium caps that I get from the health food store every night at bedtime now. It's not magnesium sulphate or citrate, but to be honest, I'm not sure. It's by Solaray. But you really have no way of knowing if that first cleanse would have been more " successful " with more salts. In other words - the body is a mysterious thing and it does what it is ready to do. Results will vary regardless of what cleanse a person is doing. They are never exactly the same twice. But I know that you really believe in them and so I wholeheartedly support your choice to use them! in health,

Guest guest
, I think it's a little more then just believing in the epsom salts that make them work better. Also, I think that the salts help in any of the flushes that you do. Sure, the body will react differently at each flush depending on many facts like food, stress, health but no matter which flush # it is or how your body is, taking the salts will increase your results. Even if you have great results without salts, you would've had 'great-er' with them for many reasons. So why not include them in every flush? #1. The salts will do more in relaxing the ducts and dialating them than just juice will. #2. The salts apparently will eliminate food like other laxatives but maybe not as completely or rapidly. This includes the elimination of water in your body which hinders results in my experience. #3. Magnesium and sulfur are ok for your body. I guess I am also sold on the effects of epsom as much as I am on the olive oil as an ingredient. My experience makes me a believer for the entire cleanse process. When I reduced the salts for me 3rd flush, I still had a great flush but with less sludge and stones. When I used 5 tblspns for my 4th flush, I semi-dehydrated and got around 800-1,000 stones on just one flush. I call it a 'Power-Flush " now. haha More salts and double the oil. Wow, what a rush. And the results were way more than I could ever expect. I'm shooting for the 2,000 stone mark now that is talked about in the methods and I will use the same extra salt and oil formula as before. My body has changed since that 'power' flush last week as well. I feel better, clearer thinking, my skin is baby smooth, my completion is better, and I feel no pain or tightness at all when eating. After my 5th flush I will check the ultrasound again to see if that 'problem stone' (1cm in gb) is out. I think it may already be gone but the feeling of change from the 4th and 5th cleanse are tremendous. I attribute that to the extra salt and double oil more than the number of cleanses or the condition of my mind and body at the time of flush. Try it and see (if you still are searching for that 'great' flush). :-) This is just what works for me. Good luck.
