Guest guest
Silicone hypersensitivity makes alot more sense to me now that I have been tested and found to be gluten intolerant. I was not experiencing any overt symptoms that would make me question a gluten intolerance in my own body. But obviously, through the results of my tests, my body was making gluten antibodies, which could only spell trouble further down the road. It may be a worthwhile endeavor to avoid silicone as much as possible to see if you feel better as a result! Rogene, can you find out from Lana exactly what products we should be avoiding? Does Lana have a list of products that contain silicone? We need some resources to help us with this! Patty silicon can't harm you.Date: Sun, 26 Nov 2006 21:29:27 -0800I admire Dr. Blais a great deal. As a matter of fact I met him when he testified at my trial against the manufactures but in this case I do not agree that silicon dioxide in medications can not hurt you if you have a silicon hypersensitivity. Dr. Shanklin is a well known pathologist who did a study in the area of silicon hypersensitivity. I urge you to read his research located in the saline support files and ask him about what the hypersensitivity tests mean. He is a wonderful man and I am sure he would be willing to explain it.I trust in his work, and the blood test results have saved our lives. The silicon dioxide in the medications that we were taking caused us a lot of harm. Before having those test results our lives were hell! We were always sick and in pain. No one knew what was wrong with us. No one knew how to treat us. One treatment lead to another treatment and so on and so on. We were so sick that I thought my sons and I were going to die. After listening to Dr. Shanklin and removing the silicon medications, it was like we were given back our lives. I still have numerous problems from the damage caused by the loose migrated gel, but not my boys. I used to run a support group, Babies Injured By silicone- B.I.B.S. I am sure Lynda remembers me from years ago, I have read every piece of research that has ever been published on breast implants and I have suffered for nearly twenty years with implant related health problems. We have had the whole, "all the tests come up negative" but I'm in pain and I am sick thing. Between my son specialists and the doctors I've seen including the ones at our UW I can tell you the only relief we have ever had was removing the medications containing silicon dioxide and or silicone.I hope I am not insulting anyone. I am trying to be helpful. Lanahttp://education. jlab.org/ itselemental/ ele014.html____________ _________ _________ _________ _________ _________ ________Fixing up the home?
