Guest guest
Sandy, I also got these symptoms shortly after implants. First my arm and neck on my right side locked up. I was 3 weeks post-op. My PS said no connection, looking back I should have been smarter than him, I finally got a clue when I found a lot of the women just like me with implants. I still have the problem with my arm more than my neck, only on right side. My right side implant was leaking and had stuff floating in it. After I had the implants removed it eased up a bit. I don't know if you have toxic shock or nerve damage. DR. Kolb told me that it was scar tissue built up and I somehow want to believe that, I guess. It is still scary to wake up every day with this that is for sure. Good Luck Donna
Guest guest
Donna - If Dr. Kolb says your tightness scar tissue - you need to do some stretching. See a good massage therapist and get her to show you how to stretch the tissue. Scar tissue can take 1-2 years before it relaxes like normal tissue - if you work on it. If you don't it can stay permanently tight. That's why burn patients must endure physical therapy for so long! BSBanshee1@... wrote: Sandy, I also got these symptoms shortly after implants. Guest guest
Sandy, My understanding of toxic shock is that it kills you very quickly, so if you had toxic shock it wouldn't continue to make you sick, it would have been fatal. That's not to say that toxins aren't the cause of your illness, you could very well be sick from toxins that were introduced into your body by the implants. I got sick within a few weeks, too, and I'm sure it was the chemicals that caused my ill health. Sis > > Sandy, > > I also got these symptoms shortly after implants.
