Guest guest
Hi, I have not used any of the ketosis sticks. It is said you will reach a point where the ketosis will not show up on the sticks. I used to check my ratios, and my carb intake was low enough, it was most likely I was in ketosis, and also could tell some by how outgoing I was. I have been through some of the atkins books, and their site. It can be some good info, but certainly you do not need or want to take any of their products(Joanne has said this some before). Those products try to be a substitute for all those foods we cannot have and be healthy-bread, crackers, cookies, etc. They use artificial sugars, and sugar alcohols, and processed grains. To cut down on grains, it is best to soak/prepare in some lemon juice or apple cider vinegar some brown rice, millet, and there was mention of some thing else, By Bee, but cannot remember it, oh yes it was buckwheat, which is a seed. then gradually reduce them. You will start to lose interest/and taste for off diet foods. This site has some great success stories with pictures. http://www.marksdailyapple.com/the-book/success-stories/#axzz1wJrd0jpU c > > and > > > If you can get hold of the Dr Atkins book, only borrow it because you will not need it long term. But if you can get hold of it in his book he tells you to begin with an induction diet where you are allowed 20g of carbs. Everybody, enters ketosis on this diet, and this is how people loose weight on the Atkins diet. > Love Joanne > > > > ________________________________ > > To: fibromyalgiacured > Sent: Tuesday, 29 May 2012, 16:20 > Subject: Re: and Jean: How I worked my way through Bees diet > > > Â > Dear Joanne, > > Thank you SO much for all of this valuable information and the time you're > spending to send it.
