Terri, Testing for blood oxygen is as simple as putting a clip with a red light on the end of your finger. (connected to an electronic monitoring device, of course) . . .Nothing to it. My doctor was pleasantly surprised at my high levels. Said they see a lot of people with low levels. Terri, I've heard of products that are designed to increase blood oxygen levels - I don't know how effective they are. . . Do some checking before spending bug bucks. They may, or may not be worth it. Rogene

I also had this done at my last physical only a month ago. I had high levels of oxygen in my blood, which was a nice surprise.

Terri,

Testing for blood oxygen is as simple as putting a clip with a red light on the end of your finger. (connected to an electronic monitoring device, of course) . . .Nothing to it.

My doctor was pleasantly surprised at my high levels. Said they see a lot of people with low levels.

Patty,

I wonder what's increasing the oxygen level - are you exercising

more, or is it just the better habits?

I don't know for sure. I know I am not exercising more though! (Which I should be). Maybe it is a sign that my body has reached a level of detox such that all the heavy metals and other stuff that take the place of oxygen on the cell are gone! That would be cool!

It would have been nice to have some kind of objective testing done to be able to correlate my high mercury and arsenic levels with my blood oxygen level to see if that was indeed the case. I know that mercury binds to hemoglobin, which results in less oxygen. (See this site for a great discussion of mercury toxicity and what it does with mineral displacement):

http://www.drkaslow.com/html/mercury_s_influence.html

I've seen women with such low levels of energy that you know something is seriously wrong, but when they get tested, they come back normal or with high levels of a mineral, such as magnesium. The good doctor says, "You're fine!" But what they failed to consider is that the high levels may be due to the fact that the mineral never made it into the cell! That's what toxicity is all about!

I just think my detoxing efforts have paid off!
