Guest guest
I`m not so sure it is amyth.Like I said,my Irish great grand parents had many kids, and many died. One died in child birth.Only 2 girls had familes of their own.My friend with fibro, thinks, there migght be something to it.She was rasied on potatoes and other carb foods as they were cheap.Potatoes most every day.She lost her first baby to miscarriage and the other 2 have problems.I think, she finally thinks there is something to the nightshades theory. Not everyone is as sensitive, obviously. The author of the book, says,it is ok to eat them at times,if you can tolerate them, but, they should not be a staple food, for every meal or every day foods.Thankyou for taking the time to do that, but,if it`s to much hastle, don`t worry about it.i will read the book,as I am interested in what night shade foods were used for,ans also what the bible says about them. > > Tina > > I am struggling to attach this bible food document. when I last printed it out the assistant at the library had to help me, now it is not complete and off alignment. When I get time I will try to doctor it up, and if I cannot I will re-type it, it will just take some time > > When I was very ill, I did have real problems with potatoes and tomatoes and this made me think I might have a problem with nightshades in general, and later, about a year ago I found I had too much detox when I used chilli. But I have never had any trouble at all with peppers and now I can have tomatoes again > > Nightshades are not the only foods I struggled with back then, I struggled with anything that contained carbohydrates, but especially starch. I still will not risk potatoes but I will not have any high starch veg > > Bee says the nightshade thing is a myth. I do not know myself. I dont think I actually have a problem with this group of foods but many folk claim they do have > > They do contain high oxilates > > Anyway, Really I cannot claim to be an expert on this. I have tried to read some articles this morning but not enough time, this one seems interesting. It covers some of the issues you have raised > > http://www.besthealthmag.ca/eat-well/nutrition/4-myths-about-nightshade-vegetabl\ es > > Love Joanne > > > > ________________________________ > > To: fibromyalgiacured > Sent: Monday, 7 May 2012, 1:14 > Subject: Nightshades and Witchcraft > > > Â > She also said, they were used in witchcraft, and mentions other things nightshades were used for,so,I want to read that book. > > > > >
