Guest guest
I'm so sorry to hear you're having breathing problems - Unfortunately, it goes with implants! Start munching down garlic! It's a natural antibiotic, antifungal and antioxident. Nature's miracle food. You can pack it in empthy gel caps if you can't handle the taste. Follow up with some fresh apple to get rid of most of the taste. You won't develop a resistance to it .. . You should be able to avoid an antifungal med with it. If you'll start at the first signs of an infection, you should be able to avoid antibiotics too, Also excellent are Grapefruit seed extract, Oil of Oregano and Olive leaf leaf extract . . . The' all available in capsule form . . .but you want the garlic fresh! Lynda is a good one to help you learn how to manage infections without meds! And hang in there with the positive state of mind! . . .It's going to get better! . . . I had to go to urgent care yesterday(no insurance), and I have bronchitis with a touch of Pneumonia. My asthma got very bad and I have severe shortness of breath. Guest guest
I always take either oil of oregano, andrographis or herbal biotic at the very first thought that I might not feel well. It could be just a slight tickle in my throat, less energy or slightly achy legs. By doing this for the past couple of years, I haven't been sick at all. Herbal products often times don't work if you wait until you have a full blown infection. Guest guest
Rogene, I've heard of those...I will check into them. I am very much into the natural stuff. Also, very good is virgin unprocessed organic coconut oil. I use that in my cooking. It has so many benefits. As far as the garlic...I've tried and all I do is burp up garlic. I have major digestive problems too...irritable bowel...when I have to go, move out of the way or else there will be an accident! Do you buy the Costo jars of garlic already peeled or do you peel it...yuck! I am definitely open to giving it another try. Guest guest
I use only fresh garlic from the produce section. That you have digestive problems may mean that you really, really need it. When the antifungal action kicks in, you can get very uncomfortable temporarily. . .known as a herx. Just go slow . . I crush it and wrap a bit of meat around it, put it on a salad or piece of bread. , , ,Patty cuts it in pieces, gives it a quick chomp and swallows. The active ingredient is released in the crushing action. It disapates in heat - so cooked garlic isn't as effective. Virgin Coconut oil is outstanding! You'll probably find your bowel problems clear up after explant too! Rogene <waltjenking@...> wrote: Rogene, I've heard of those...I will check into them. I am very much into the natural stuff. Guest guest
, The ladies here got me on raw garlic, and now I am an addict. I crave it. I found some research that says its blood-thinning properties help fibromyalgics with pain-- I definitely notice a difference. There has been a lot of research done on garlic, but mostly the aged kind in capsules. Supposedly the aging increases the release of allicin, the compound in garlic that helps the body. But I'd bet fresh is better. I use a small marble mortar and pestle to crush several cloves at a time-- it loosens the skin, smashes the cloves really well in less than a minute, and it easier to clean than a cutting board. I usually mis it with food-- I just put it in whatever I'm eating-- soups, salad, pasta, hummus, cheese. . . My family used to complain about the smell, but I've got them eating it and now everyone is happy. Mangia bene! Bindi Re: ADD? - Lynda I use only fresh garlic from the produce section.
