Guest guest
I think, you are right that food is a better source of probiotics,as the supplements can be destroyed by the stomach acid or something. One thing that concerns me,is the high cost of food, and I think,it will get much worse.I think, people should be saving seeds, planting fruit trees and berry bushes and trying to store up sustainable food.Food that serves as medicine and food, like coconut oil and salt, that is also used to preserve food.A water purifier.Storing water and food that has water in it.I have lots of maple trees in my yard and get lots of those whirly birds with the seeds in them.Mainly,we end up raking them up,and burning them. But,I think, maybe we should learn how to stire the seeds for food, and the pine cones.what squirrels eat.I do love to be sitting outside when the wind is blowing and all those maple seeds helicopters are falling from the trees. They are a pain to clean up,but,I love to watch them fall,so,they stay, but, the trees are all old,and maybe I should plant a new one.Running out of room from planting fruit trees.Maybe planting some in pots for indoor use.Anyoone know how long baking soda lasts?Storing in the fridge make it last longer?Learning how to make soap, and they do sell lots of natural organic soaps at the health food store.Oatmeal, ginsing kelp soap and lots more. There is something that adding to water will make it pure, maybe collidial silver. Can`t remember for sure. > > Hi All > > Dr Mercola has a new article relating to GAPS. He points out that food can be a better source of probiotic than supplements. Bee does not believe probiotics can embed in the gut but she does agree that foods that contain many probiotics are good for us because the probiotics in the food are breaking down the cell walls and have already taken away a lot of toxicity and have brought out the nutrition ready for us to eat. This means not only is the food better for us, it also means our own gut does not have to break up the food and pull out the nutrition, which is good because with many of us having Candida we do not want too much activity with this, but over time when the Candida settles down we can cope with a little more > > here is the article > > http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2012/05/12/dr-campbell-mcbrid\ e-on-gaps.aspx?e_cid=20120512_DNL_art_1 > > Love Joanne > >
