Let me clarify - I do understand what some of the cleanse sources say that Epsom Salts do. I have known about that since the first cleanse that I did. What I was looking for was something outside the cleansing world that would explain HOW they do it. But I wrote the second post saying " never mind " because I realize that outside the cleansing world there probably are not any sources that would explain how the Epsom Salts do what the cleansing sources say they do. It isn't the bowel emptying part - I can accomplish that in other ways. It was the part about dilating the bile ducts. That just always sounds kind of vague and odd to me and since I've had good results without the ES, so I wanted to figure out whether or not I felt that I wanted to change what I'm doing and include them again. I'm not attempting to disclaim it - I just wanted more information at the time when I wrote the original post. The only thing I can do is make my choice about how I want to do the cleanse and trust my own judgment for my own body. I have done cleanses both with the ES and without and I will probably continue to vary how I do it, sometimes with and sometimes without. Since I'm getting positive results with each flush - that's what really matters. Thanks again for taking the time to respond and for respecting my choice for doing my cleanse in a different way than what is perhaps the standard. in health,
Guest guest
, Everyone is learning about what the magic potion does but it's really very simple stuff. Epsom salts are used in a lot of countries as a bowel cleanser or for constipation. The salts will open up your entire digestive system, ducts, intestines, bowels, and probably a lot of other organs. You will relax your organs and release a lot of sludge or whatever with the salts. The cleanse method amount of salts do it on a grander scale. I eliminate right away after drinking that much salt. My body opens all of it's digestive pores and I also eliminate a lot of excess water with it as well. I think Epsom is a good preperation for your body to pass stones through a small relaxed cystic duct. Works for me. I wouldn't even look for another source. Hope this helps. Guest guest
, Good question that I see more clearly what you are asking. I'd also like to see some kind of other documentation about why Dr. for instance 'knows' that the magnesium sulfate does actually 'dialate' the digestive duct. I think it dialates everything in your body, even your colon digestive area but would also like to see more stuff on this topic. Maybe Agnes can clarify more?
