Foamy urine

Hi all,

I just wondered if anyone had had the problem of their urine becoming more foamy

while on prednisolone. I'm on the prednisolone for asthma rather than the IgAN,

and am tapering off it pretty quickly at the moment, but I've noticed that these

past few days, my urine has been a lot more foamy than usual (and not because

anyone's tipped any cleaners into the toilet!! LOL). I'm due to do another 24

hour urine collection around March.

Well I am not on pred, and I have foamy urine, have done since

diagnosis. My Neph knows about it, and seems pretty unconcerned,

although he did try a little joke once when I said about it, he said

women are supposed to sit on the loo seat, not take aim. Sorry to say

my mood that day was not receptive to quips, but now I see the funny

side.

Ask your medical team when you go for your next 24 hr about it Jennie,

at the very least they might be pleased to be aware of it, and may be

able to give you some clues, if indeed there are any.

Have you got your large brown bag ready for the collection, and your

dark glasses, sorry just trying myself to be funny tee hee
