Guest guest
I started my flush yesterday, Weds. 23rd, and have wondered where I when wrong, as I threw up from 10:30 PM, a half hour after drinking the olive oil and grapefruit mix, at 10PM. I kept vomiting until about 12 midnight. I had had almonds in the morning, and I should say it wasn't until near noon, that I decided to do the flush. I suffer from a continuous " Post Nasal Drip " condition. I have been told by more than one source, I am " toxed out " and it is spilling out of my sinusis because of this. I made a home made soup yesterday, made from two chicken breasts, three-quarters of a stock of clery, one onion, and two carrots. Lightly seasoned, mostly with basil and rosemary, some garlic powder. I lightly cook this in a pot, then I puree it in my blender. I had two bowls, and over the course of an hour, I had two raw carrots, just finishing the last carrot before 2 PM. The cut off time period. I had been to see my massage therapist at 5PM, finished at 6:15PM, which I drank my first 3/4 cup of epsom salt mix. I brought it with me. Took my second, at 8PM sharp. Mixed the olive oil and grapefruit mix at 9:45PM, and drank it at 10 PM sharp. I layed down on my sofa which reclines, and I put it back as far as it would go. I did not lay on the bed, flat on my back, as instructed. I got nauseous and had to go and vomit about 10:30PM as stated before. I am thinking of many things I may have taken for granted, and thusly, didn't get the flush result I was and had hoped for. Thank you for your attention to this letter. Guest guest
Tony, Were you drinking a lot of water between 2pm and 10pm? A lot of water in the stomach will make the oil sit on top of it and cause you to feel ill. Nerves on your first flush could also cause you to feel ill because you don't know what to expect. Foods should be very light on the day of the fast/cleanse. I eat some fruit for breakfast and a little more for lunch and try and keep everything out of my system for the entire day. No vitamins or medications on the flush day also. I hope it goes better for you on your next try. Use grapefruit instead of lemon also will make it easier for weak stomaches. Hope this helps you to try again.
