Guest guest
Hi Joanne, When watching the price video, they did mention raw meat as being helpful-something about the fragile B-6. I made some notes about the fermented foods while watching it. The store I go to with the products from India has a lot of chutneys, etc, It is too hot to walk there today-will get over 100. I have not tried to do any fermenting myself. There are places here to get goats milk, but will have to find a ride there. Thanks cindy c > > > Â > I have met two young ladies who were at one time on Bees diet but later moved to the Ecology Diet. They are telling me that eating raw meat and plenty of fermented food is working better of them. I do not know how true this is but I am thinking that some raw good quality meat might be worth a try and I am going to learn from them how to ferment lots of different foods and I may give them a try too > Â > One of them has told me that she buys the fermented cod liver oil. This is expensive, and I really do not think I can afford it, but I am wondering if there is a way to ferment it myself, I am going to look into this > Â > The main reason why I am thinking there may be some truth in what they are telling me is that the Eskimos did eat more fermented foods than I am currently eating > Â > I think, not certain, but I do think even Bee has said in the past that raw liver occasionally is a good idea. I think she said that I will when I get a minute look that up. And in general bee is not against most fermented foods, so again when i get some time I am going to read up more of this on Bees site. I am just thinking that this stuff these young women are soing might be complementary to what I am doing right now > Â > They do eat more fruit and vegetables than I do and I will not be increasing that. i have little desire to eat more of either fruit or veg, since even when fermented they will just raise my carb intake and I want to stay in ketosis. But actually having folk to talk face to face with is going to be nice > Â > The other thing which sounds promising is they can get raw sheep and raw goats milk substantially cheaper than I can. It I am able to get hold of this myself I may be able to make my own cheese and butter. This will be great if I can because then it will be raw. I will let you know how I get on > Â > I do not know yet, if this is a good move or not, with the raw meat, fermented foods but if it does go well I will let you know. I dont know how much fermenting you do right now but I am thinking maybe this might be of interest to you > Â > Anyway, I have to rush, it is way past my bed time and hubby is moaning > Â > All my love Joanne
