Joanne - is your consultant a doctor? You could help by contacting IGeneX to

send you the free test kit with the form. www.IGeneX.com, 1-.

I think there are elevated inflammation markers. I am not a doctor but I think a

Lyme doctor could answer the question. I could ask on Lymenet, or would you have

any interest in going there to ask about inflam markers?

Lyme affects the whole body, so yes to the brain, joints, intestines. The Lyme

bacteria likes lipids. Nerves have a high lipid content and that's why they are

attacked, early on in the brain, and then throughout the body.

Sugar feeds candida yeast, so you could be experiencing yeast symptoms. Sugar

feeds the Lyme bacteria, and weakens the immune system. I myself have seen

clumped WBCs under the microscope after exposure to sugar. You could be

experiencing what's called a cytokine storm - cytokines are part of the body's

inflammational response.

You could also ask on Lymenet if anyone else experiences similar symptoms as

yours. Everyone presents differently. I find it very reassuring when others

chime in to say they're going through the same thing, and also if they're

treating and how they're feeling from treatment.

Sorry you're feeling this badly. Keep asking these questions and researching

their answers. I don't think there's any one answer - there's many processes

going on simultaneously. Maybe consider going to www.lymenet.org to start a

dialogue with other Lyme patients to see if people there have matching

experience, would be my suggestion. - Yours, Robin

Re: Robin, Would Lyme Disease show up on a brain

scan

Robin

For a while now I have been thinking about asking for a brain scan. Does Lyme

Disease usually show up on a brain scan?

Love Joanne
