Hi Joanne - Lyme disease can show up on a SPECT scan - that shows where and how

blood flows in the brain - it will show low, and after treatment, show higher.

The CEO of the CA Lyme Disease Association showed slides of her brain before and

after treatment - she said it was like the lights went on again. The brain is

very much affected by this illness, including the white matter, which is what we

use to think with, so it gets harder to think and process with this brain

inflammation. We call it brain fog and Lyme brain. - Robin

For a while now I have been thinking about asking for a brain scan. Does Lyme

Disease usually show up on a brain scan?
