Re taking a year to cleanse the colon, when I was more actively practicing my Nutritional Counseling and using Iridology, it took about that long for visible changes to show in the eye...and generally recommended cleansing with Psyllium, etc. for a year to really get a good colon cleanse. Guest guest
Could you let me know what this fab psyllium bar is called and where did you buy it? Looking into introducing psyllium into my daily routine and wondering what the best format is! Thanks in advance, Michele -----Original Message----- From: Vanadeux [mailto:vanadeux@...] Sent: Sunday, 17 Feb 2002 3:52 pm gallstones Subject: I may put the cat amongst the pidgeons here after my comments about doctors not commenting on the crud in the colon during a colonscopy. BlankI personally cleared on a daily basis for one whole year, old waste from my colon, whilst taking a wonderful fibre bar, consisting mostly of psyllium. So I do know that I personally had a totally bunged up colon, and I did feel better when my colon was much clearer. Not to go into too much detail, you are in no doubt when the waste that comes away is old and of ancient origin. no doubt at all!! So you cannot tell me that all the people who have there colons checked do not have years of build up in there. I do not believe that a simple one off enema removes this either. Guest guest
Psyllium can be had in capsules, and in powder form to mix in juice at bedtime as well, may be more economical?? L. Guest guest
I like the capsules because it's easier to take, but also use powder. The Psyllium Hulls good for helping to pull old waste off the lining of the intestinal tract, but sometimes to harsh for those who have bowel diseases that leave them really sensitive, for that just plain Psyllium without the hulls is better, also like Slippery Elm, very soothing.
