Guest guest
Hi Cheryl I don¹t¹ know what to advise you to do but I once had this happen to me too. I was put on antibiotics because theyguy figured I had lyme disease or a parasite infection in the gut he wanted me to take them for two years I was one them for 10 days and wow. I felt completely normal and had high energy. The prescription ran out and due to a nurses oversight I ended up a week without them. By the time I got more they didn¹t work again. He said that was normal. The bacteria become resistant to that particular antibiotic. Then he said the two year plan for me and I couldn¹t confront it. Ihave only one kidney so I was terrified of two years on them. So, I have seen this happen. Might you have lymes disease? I don¹t I just had it tested. But you may have something like that. Hope this helps. rosemarie > > > > > > This is the third winter that I have complained about fatigue - so bad I > cannot wake up in the AM and I simply sleep from FM/fatigue & exhaustion so > bad that I do not wake up at all during Jan/Feb. Guest guest
Cheryl  I am new here so cannot really advise you on much but what I can tell you is this, using antibiotics has messed up my gut bacteria. I have Candida and my doctor wants me to have tests for Crohns. Right now I am following bee's diet and this is making a big difference to all my symptoms  I have used low carbing before and it helped me in the past too, but I feel happier with Bees diet because she has given us a list of supplements to use. This is also helping  Joanne ________________________________ To: fibromyalgiacured Sent: Tue, 15 March, 2011 2:21:03 Subject: Antibiotics helped - feeling better than FOREVER!!  This is the third winter that I have complained about fatigue - so bad I cannot wake up in the AM and I simply sleep from FM/fatigue & exhaustion so bad that I do not wake up at all during Jan/Feb. " why we get so much relief when we use antiBs... " This makes it sound like it would be desirable to use antiBs, when I'm sure that was not your intent... Anyway, I'm really glad you invited me over here!

Guest guest
Hi - I think I missed the original poster's comment about which antibiotics you're on and what it did for your symptoms - I'm interested in hearing - If we have Lyme disease, which is a bacterial infection mostly transmitted by ticks, then it's treated with antibiotics. My fibromyalgia turned out to be Lyme. I am treating with 150mg clindamycin 1-2x/day and that stops all fibro pain and reduces joint swelling. We're all different when it comes to which Lyme strain(s) we have and which antibiotics we respond to. Doxycycline, for example, is a typical med, and I can't tolerate it. And if we have yeast, then that's treated with antifungals. But we're all different, and sounds like it didn't work for Joanne. Take care - Robin Re: Antibiotics helped - feeling better than FOREVER!! Joanne wrote: > The other thing is this relief we get from using antibiotics and antifungals.
