Carol you can get a heat rash in the winter if you have long sleeves and were

heated up. I've seen it in the nursing homes and hospitals many many times. You

may be getting psorasis also, I have that and it starts on elbows and works it

way out. Hope all is well.

Subject: Rash

Hi Everyone

Ok, so I will probably sound abit like a big kid here, but I'm kinda freaked out

at the moment. Even though I have had four children of my own, and you would

think that I would be well experienced in this kind of thing by now..... But

anyways, a few days ago, I came down with a horrible

cold that made me dizzy, terrible chest congestion, and over all wiped out. Well

I have been taking about 4000mg a day of Vitamin C trying to knock it out of me

quickly, and drinking a ton of fluids, and I started feeling better today.

Anyway, I went to go take my usual Epsom Salt Bath today, and noticed that I

have a rash on both of my arms on the inside of the elbow, you know like the

place where they usually take blood at.

They are pinkish red, just slightly raised, and only itches a little bit. But I

have no idea why I have this rash. I don't ever get rashes????

I mean seriously like never. I've never been allergic to anything my entire

life, not foods, not the woods, not meds....

Which I'm not taking any medicines out of the normal. I havent eaten anything

that is new or strange to me. My left arm is worse then my right arm as far as

the rash is concerned. I'm not running a fever, and I don't have the rash

anywhere else on me. Sooo, I was wondering if any of you have suffered with

anything similar with your Fibromyalgia or could you possibly know what is going

on with me. I would appreciate any input on this, as I tend to worry about

things. I don't want to go to the German hospital because they will try to keep

me over night, and I'm not willing to stay

the night over a rash on my arms. Not unless I start with a fever..... My first

thought was could it possibly be a heat rash? But found the idea of that being

odd beings we are in the middle of winter and its really not that hot in my

house. Plus after the bath, hours later, its still there just as bad as earlier.

Hopefully one of you guys will know what is going on with me.

Hugs,

Carol

I get messages from the group via digest so by the time I'm answering this, you

may have all your questions answered.

I have a lot of food related issues, and among them is I have had a life long

issue with eczema. In it's most mild times I would get patches inside the bends

of my arms.

good luck, I hope you feel better.

a cort-aid type cream has always helped me
