That is what all shaklee and suppliment salespeople say. If they are better

off because of supplements alone, then they probably never had the degree of

illness or diseases that we chronic pain patients are suffering from, in the

first place. If Shaklee were so good, how come they have to use drama to

talk people into it to get it sold?

don't buy this stuff. It does not work. I agree with bonnade, they

probably don't even have the degree of fibromyalgia and chronic pain.

Fibro has many facets, each and everyone of us that has this have different

symptoms. Once you buy they will keep after you to then sell this stuff. My

opinion this is a pyramid.

There will be people out there that will say that they tried this and

that and they are cured. Good for them, you have to try things that

will work for you. We are not the same. Fibromyalgia mimics many

diseases.

Well Said, Kaydee! I have had fibro symptoms for many years now, but cannot find

a doc that wants to treat me without me going on an experimental program. The

best I can get is treatment for symptoms, and the rest is up to me. I do a lot

of my own research, beginning 12 years ago with my husband's cholesterol and

dietary issues.

Last year, we tried the Acai Berry thing, and it turned out to be a waste of

money for us, but a valuable lesson in falling for the latest hype. I have

learned to be very cautious about any product that comes with lots of

testimonials and overly-enthusiastic people who focus on all the money they have

made and how much weight they have lost.

For all we know, the REAL reason the Acai Berry worked for them is they traded

juice for alcohol, potroast for burgers, and green beans for baked beans. This

year I am trying juicing. I am replacing my salads (which included cheese,

dressing, etc.) with juiced veggies that have no added fat or processed

toppings.

It might not get rid of my fibro, but at least the doctors won't be able to

accuse me of eating wrong! Also, in my research, I have come to the

understanding that fibro may be a result of consuming food additives and

preservatives over a lifetime.

Most of us never knew what kind of additives were being added until the last few

years, when product labeling became a big news issue. We cannot blame ourselves

for what we did not know, but we can only do our best to make better choices.
