Guest guest
Hi , Have you been able to increase your fats as you go? There were a few times when starting Bee's I hurt a bit worse, but overall my pain got less. Sometimes going into ketosis(you need the high fats to do it), you will have some pain, and tiredness. There is also the withdrawals you will go though when going lower carbs, and that can make you hurt. Joanne mentioned that at one point, is why people give it up. It can be hard at first, but you have to stick with it. If you are not on Bee's yahoo group, it help you, and look up in her search for questions. We can still end up with fibro, and other problems eating the so called healthy diet, and your children and you would do even better on bee's diet. C > > Joanne, > If attaining ketosis would be best for me than I will rry to do it. So far I have had almost no carbs for two days. After reading a lot of links you have sent me I started realizing and seeing just how much breads, pasta and rice we have in the house. I am going to moderate how much my children eat from now on. My children are no where near obese. They are quite healthy indeed. I always keep fresh fruits and veggies for them to much on and they rarely eat anything white like rice, sugar, bread, etc. our pasta is usually brown rice pasta. Candy is very limited and I usually only buy organic kind. Even organic cake, brownie or muffin mixes as well and even that is rare when I make those. > Anyhow, I was basically stating that I don't want them too dependent on carbs from what I have read. I'm hoping that by raising my kids the way I am they will continue to practice this way of eating and thus hopefully avoiding any sort of autoimmune disease or any other diseases in the future. > Getting back to the ketosis, I have problems with my memory and concentration so I have a tendance to steer off in other directions of a subject LOL! > Yes..ketosis...do you think it best to start off by attaining ketosis. I'm not quite sure how to do that.....I'm willing. Anything to achieve the healthiest happiest me that might be possible. I'm so done with all of this...the way it has been for me...the meds.....the fatigue...everything! > > Lots of love > >
