Hi - thx for the suggestions - I've actually tried the list there and

haven't seen anything happen. So maybe I'm an anomaly - maybe I have a

particular strain of Lyme (there's 100 in this country and 300 worldwide) that

responds well to clindamycin. And it continues to help me, as recently I had a

dental infection and upping the clinda kept control over it. I agree with you in

going natural whenever possible. I'm doing really well with anti-inflams -

specifically mangosteen juice, which saves my eyes and keeps me from being

constipated, and noni juice and grapeseed extract capsules, which stop lipomas

completely (fat cell tumors). Am mentioning these last couple remedies since

they're really working for me. The trick is for any of us to find what helps us.

We're all different. Take care - Robin

I'm sure you are very elated to have no fibro pain but my concern is with

your taking antibiotics, which are toxic to your body.

On Bee's program, she gives alternatives to " regular " antiBs:

If it takes you to the top of the page, scroll down (or use " CTRL + F " to do

a word search) to:

" Nature's Antibiotics

There are many spices, herbs, and foods that help the body heal. Some of

them have been researched extensively and they are considered among the best

of nature's antibiotics.

However, the best defense is building up natural immunity by following

Nature's Fundamental Laws on Health!

These natural antibiotics are antiparasitic, antifungals, antiviral,

antibacterial, etc. and they also provide many other health benefits.

Some of Nature's Best Antibiotics:

* Coconut Oil

* Clove Oil

* Garlic

* Oil of Oregano

A word of caution! Clove oil and Oil of Oregano are not recommended during

pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Please note that bacterial, viral, etc. resistance does not develop against

natural antibiotics. That is because toxins/poisons, such as antibiotic

drugs, are what cause resistances because viruses and bacteria, which are

created within the body itself, change into different forms in an effort to

find one that will get rid toxin/poisonous drugs and substances.

Viruses, bacteria, candida/fungus, and even cancer are created by the body

itself in order to clean itself up - see You Do Not Catch Germs, Bacteria or

Viruses.

It's like the manure pile and the flies, with the manure pile representing

the poor condition of the body. First, there wouldn't be any flies without

the manure pile, and second, you cannot get rid of flies without doing

something about the manure pile. "

(there is more, but this is all I copied)

Great post, as always, Joanne...

Yes, I've run in to that on another forum I was on. People knew Bee's pgm

was 'the best' but they did not want to restrict themselves as much as Bee's

pgm would restrict.

So I had a hard time being patient with their complaining when they knew

what they should be doing yet went their own way and were suffering the

consequences... It's one thing to not know and be suffering, then finding

out and changing. It's another to know, continue on, suffer and complain.

I don't have much patience for that.

I've used the vehicle analogy that you'd shared about with your dad, just a

bit different...

We know a car needs to have the correct gas/petrol used, it needs to have

the oil changed, spark plugs attended to, air in tires, windshield wipers,

kept clean, etc., to be kept in optimal condition. If we don't give it what

it needs, it will run OK for a while, but ultimately it will start to break

down. If we get in an accident and don't get it repaired, then we've got

more issues with which to deal.

As to being restricted from foods that it seems we can eat w/o problems...

This is what I'm running in to with my sister and haven't come up with a

good answer... She's been working on cutting down on her carb intake and

had some apple the other day, and it tore her tummy up. She can't

understand why the apple never bothered her before but now it does...

Re: remedies

I think one of the difficulties we have with passing the message on about

Bees diet is to do with the fact that there are so many other 'healthy

eating' plans out there, that frankly do not work I know that many years ago

I spent thousands and thousands of pounds on remedies trying to get well.

Some, indeed many helped for a short time, but sadly after the short time,

my symptoms returned and on many occasions these were far worse than when I

started......[snipped]
