I always try the natural view, as you know, and am always open

to using natural products. I only hope I can continue this route.

This round of events has really put me in the concerned mode.

I just cannot seem to shake this bout off.

Every time I believe am out of the woods, I go back to sickness. I

awoke this morning feeling tired but better. I was not gasping for

air or panting. I made breakfast, rinsed 2 dishes, placed them in the

dishwasher...I am now soooo fatigued and panting. I am resting

at the moment, maybe take a small nap. Thought I was going

shopping with the hubby. Guess that won't happen.

Oh, well,

Here is some info on Low dose Naletrexone.

It is regarded by many to be the safest medication for autoimmine disease, and

the main reason for this is that it works by supporting the immune system, at

least that is the claim

Few side effects have been reported and the type of side effects reported are

usually mild, ie sleep problems for the first few weeks, nausea, constipation,

no serious side effects reported, well not to my knowledge, but I am not fully

up to date with the research

It is a cheap medications too, around £30 a month if I remember correctly

There are many forums on the internet where you will be able to speak to people

taking this medication

Please remember I have nver taken it and I am recommending this on second hand

information, and for this reason I would recommend you do some research

regarding this

I myself would only take this is the diet was not working and I was in a

desparate state

But like I have said generally good reports so it may be worth looking into

At the same time as taking this medication, or instead of taking this medication

you might want to look further into Bees Program. Although her diet is similar

to the Atkins diet there are many subtle differences and it is these differences

that make her doet more effective

She supports ketosis, but does not rely on it for recovery and if a person want

to do her diet just low carbing and not following strict ketosis that is

possible to. The main objective of her diet is to eliminate all foods that we

could be having immunity reactions to or that might be giving us other problems

like oxidation, poor detoxification, strain on organs etc. Bee only allows the

very safest foods and she also has carefully selected supplements that are very

gentle on the system. She also has some supporting therapies. My own experience

and from what I have witnessed on her forum, most people that follow her program

within the perameters that she has laid down have the most success. I think this

is because once the poisons from our diet are removed the body is them able to

fully commit to getting well, and the foods and supplements she does recommend

are indeed very supportive of the immune system.

In a nutshell what I am saying is LDN does help the immune system but this same

benefit can be achieved naturally by following Bees diet more rigidly. The food

is tasty and the supplements gentle so in many ways it is just as easy as the

Atkins, I think where it can be hard is the first month or so adjusting, some

get a lot of cravings, but I think maybe you are past all that

Anyway, if you are not up to Bees diet right now LDN might be an option (but do

read up on it wont you, and do talk to folk taking it because I only know a

little about it) and if you do do well with LDN, then you might feel more up to

looking at bees stuff again. I am saying this because I know there is a lot fo

reading with Bees diet and if you are not well it may be overwhelming. But on

the other hand you do already do most of what we do over there and you could if

you were well easily understand it

Anyway, I will leave this blog with you, and if you want more info on LDN, there

are lots of videos on Youtube
