Guest guest
... good grief...sorry you still have your cold but do stay down even a couple of days after you start ot feel good. I didn't and the dang thing came right back. My fault..... I was just to eager to get up and start doing something. Bad idea. Hope you start to feel better real soon. Did you also like Dr. Lava as well? Hugs Vicki-PM

Hi vick- am " resting " for a few moments- well- SOMEBODY'S gotta do the house stuff and unplug the toilet and clean up the cat throwup.....guess who? Fever seems to be gone for now- will be careful. Did I like Dr Lava? yeah- liked him, but after brief exam and looking over my history(unfortunately my previous muscle biopsy slides there- he couldnt find them-no longer existed) and doing the usual blood tests- which I told y'all came back neg- he told me to go seed a good internist because something wasnt right with me but he felt it wasnt current poly- and then in June the internest did not agree with Dr. Lava---- they ahvent talked though. I have next appt with internist Oct 20. That's why I'm mighty curious to know more about Kat's hubby's experience..... bye > >
Guest guest
Jackie: No, Neuropathy is not connected with Myositis (thank God, we have enough problems as it is without adding neuropathy!). Dr. Shibana was so impressed with the patients' reactions to the COPING book - every doctor at the Houston Medical Center of Texas; plus 2 books in every reception area of the Center which covers several blocks; plus 2 books in each reception in his own Neurology clinics. In COPING, he and I became friends so that's how the Neuropathy proposed book came into talking stage. Aside from that, I've had numerous emails asking if I will enlarge and revise COPING as people just like you feel that Myositis has caused many other problems which the medical professionals don't acknowledge. I'm giving some thought to that project too. (If I plan enough work ahead for one year at a time, maybe I'll never let IBM make an invalid out of me :>) Thank you for the kind words of appraisal. He was coughing all night I told him he should see a Dr. Are people with pm more susceptible to colds or flu? KAT
