Guest guest
My name is . I just wanted to agree with Cheryl 100%. I am on a high dose of Oxycontin 3 times a day for pain and no one can tell that I'm on it. It takes a few weeks to adjust but then things taper off. constipation is the only major problem that I have experienced with this and it is manageable several ways and well worth the extra effort to keep it under control. I can function again although it is limited but I don't have the severe pain now. I don't want to be completely pain free just so I don't overdo it and injure myself further but my pain is controlled to a tolerable level for me. Good Luck! -------Original Message------- >Hi, my name is JoAnn Unfortunately I cannot take most pain medications due to the fact thatmy autoimmune hepatitis has caused liver damage (Stage II). Morphine is allowed but I have to work (I'm the only breadwinner in our family), so I cannot use it.
